Our customers are from two markets:
One is for small scale, like plant factory, urban farming and hydroponics production.
One is for Greenhouse, like solutions for fruit, vegetables, ornamentals, flowers and horticulture.
Light is essential for plant growing. For plants, natural light is the cheapest and most effective light, but natural light in agricultural production does not always meet the plant's light intensity requirements. At latitudes of 40 to 80 degrees, especially in winter, the number of days that natural light can reach the light intensity required for plant growing is limited. Therefore, it is particularly important to use artificial lighting in greenhouses to increase the yield and quality of crops in winter.
The application of artificial light systems in modern greenhouses has been becoming increasingly important as it increases the yield per unit of crops. It is a core element of greenhouse cultivation. In modern greenhouse, water, carbon, dioxide, temperature, humidity and plant nutrition can be precisely controlled. Therefore, artificial light systems have become a major factor in the actual crop yield.
There are many kinds of lamps used in artificial light systems, such as fluorescent lamps, plasma lamps, metal halide lamps (including metal halide lamps and ceramic metal halide lamps), high pressure sodium lamps (HPS), and light emitting diodes (LED). So far, the most successful applications for large-scale production in greenhouses are high pressure sodium lamps (HPS), metal halide lamps and LEDs.
So far, more than 90% of the artificial light systems on large scale growth have used top-pressure sodium lamps as thelight supplementing, and the yield is impressive.
